Cyberlaw dictionary is an alphabetical reference guide to technical and legal terms related to the Internet. The site you are now browsing contains over 500 definitions of words drawn from Standard Internet English including technical terms and their meanings. Time out
after waiting for an answer, a program or hardware device will often display a time out message and abandon the function. For example, when ac-cessing computerized stock quotes on the telephone, the program will ask for the user.s account number. If it isn.t given within a certain period of time, say 30 seconds, the computer might return the user to the main menu or even disconnect.
